Throughout my journey as a designer, I have fallen in love with collaborations – especially between entities that one may not suspect. This capsule collaboration collection concept, Louis V By The Sea, takes inspiration from Pharrell Williams, the Black community’s proximity to attaining luxury (i.e. the Dapper Dan era, etc), HBCU streetwear culture, and luxury collaborations at other HBCUS (Ralph Lauren x Spelman & Morehouse).

I wanted to use this collection as a way to highlight my Home by the Sea, Hampton University, in a luxurious, yet relatable, manner.
